Anne Marie Kindberg appointed CEO of the Nordic region's largest political media house

Taking effect August 1st 2024, the Board of Directors of Alrow Media has appointed 43-year-old Anne Marie Kindberg as the new CEO of the company.

Alrow Media publishes the political media Altinget in the three Scandinavian countries as well as the weekly Monday Morning in Denmark with its associated think tank.

Anne Marie Kindberg has most recently been Commercial Director at the Scandinavian digital bank Lunar. Previously, she was Operations and Marketing Director at Microsoft Denmark.

Regarding the appointment as CEO of Alrow Media, the company's chairman and owner Rasmus Nielsen says: "Anne Marie Kindberg has been on the board for the past year and a half, and we appreciate her commercial flair, her strong digital understanding, her high energy levels and positive outlook on life. She knows what she is getting into: A widely respected, publishing company with a growing customer base and with specialized knowledge workers who have the courage to secure continued innovation and growth in the coming years."

"She will be tasked with securing increasing growth and earning capacity in Scandinavia, as well as developing the weekly Monday Morning news outlet, restoring our advertising revenue, developing the strategy for the use of AI and with continuing the European expansion with our niche media concept."

Anne Marie Kindberg's special interest in politics and social affairs is not only due to the fact that she graduated with a master's degree in political science from the University of Copenhagen in 2006. She grew up in a home full of politics, and she herself says about her step:
"The switch to the media industry is of course new, but it still feels a bit like coming home. I have always had a strong interest in society, and the opportunity to help ensure neutral political communication across the Nordic countries is a gift. Alrow Media is also a growing company –across media publications and think tanks – and that only makes the task more exciting. I look forward to helping drive the company towards further expansion in the coming years."

She will work closely with Rasmus Nielsen, who as a working chairman of the board has an active role in the company he started almost 25 years ago. Anne Marie Kindberg replaces Christoph Nørgaard, who has been CEO since 2019.
